Fellowship Choir rehearses during the school year every Wednesday evening from 7:00-8:30 in the sanctuary.  No choir rehearsal during July and August.

     The choir always welcomes new singers. No audition is required; however, a choir singer should have a love of singing, a love of learning, and a cooperative spirit. The UUFVB choir is a delightful group of unique individuals who are willing to channel their individuality into the common goal of making music to enhance our Sunday services and to bring joy to all of our lives.

     Ann Hossler, pianist since January 1, 2006, is Director of Music Ministries for the Fellowship.  

     She is also a member of the Worship Committee and the Music Committee.  She meets with the minister and Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration once a month to plan and coordinate musical selections with the worship services.

History:

     Fellowship charter member Priscilla Perry organized a chorus in 1988. Rehearsals were held at the home of Win and Joyce Levi until the Fellowship purchased its first property in 1993. Choir directors through the years have included Arthur Compton, Joanna Lovell, Rev. Richard Speck, and Nancy Stiefel.  In fiscal year 2003-04, the position of choir director became a paid, part-time staff position.
